At SOFA Chicago 2017, Steidel Contemporary is presenting a robust exhibition of sculpture dedicated to texture. All of our exhibiting artists embrace occurrences of natural phenomena into their creative process in order to reinvent their respective areas of contemporary craft and sculpture. Our collection of contemporary wood art, paintings on silk, bronze and porcelain sculptures communicate the importance of organic motion and aesthetic contemplation.
